Manchester United Intensify Pursuit of Victor Osimhen
Super Eagles attacker, Victor Osimhen, has once again caught the eye of English Premier League giants, Manchester United, according to reports from Soccernet.ng.
The Red Devils remain determined to bolster their attacking options after a challenging season by securing the signature of the Nigerian striker, who is currently shining on loan at Turkish club Galatasaray.
Napoli-based journalist, Vincenzo Credendino, revealed to Soccernet.ng that Napoli will only accept a straight cash offer of €70 million to let go of Osimhen, who is considered one of their most prized assets.
Osimhen Excelling in Turkey
Osimhen has been in scintillating form for Galatasaray, scoring 19 goals in 24 appearances this season, including 14 in 18 Turkish Super Lig matches. His brace in the recent victory over Rizespor has further enhanced his reputation as one of Europe’s most prolific young forwards.

With Osimhen’s exceptional performances, Manchester United’s pursuit of the Nigerian striker has intensified, as they look to bolster their attacking options following Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure to Al Nassr.
However, Manchester United’s ability to secure Osimhen’s services could hinge on the future of Danish striker Rasmus Højlund, who is currently on the radar of several European clubs, including Leeds United, Juventus, and West Ham United.
Leeds would be prepared to make an offer for Rasmus Højlund if they are promoted to the Premier League.
The Dane could be available for £40M this summer, with Juventus and West Ham also interested.

Should Højlund depart, it would free up space for Manchester United to accommodate Osimhen as their primary striker.
According to Transfer News Live, both Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain remain in the race for Osimhen and are prepared to meet his release clause to secure his services.

With competition from the French giants, Manchester United will need to act decisively to secure the signing of the Nigerian forward, who has long been on their radar since Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure.
